Plans and access
Get an API key, add credits, and see how a Sourcely subscription lowers the price.
Get started in three steps
- Sign in to Sourcely and open API and MCP in the left sidebar.
- Add credits. The minimum top-up is $20. You can also turn on automatic top-ups. See Credits and pricing.
- Create an API key and use it from your application's server, as shown in Get started.
The same page shows your balance, your price per request, usage per key and your payment history.
Who can use the API
Anyone with a Sourcely account and credits can use the API. A subscription is not required, but it lowers the price of every request:

The discount comes from the subscription on the account that owns the key, and is shown as usage.discount_percent on every response.
What you pay for
Each search has a USD cost based on its options and the sources it returns. Retrieving results is free, and a failed search costs nothing. See the price list and How search works for what each mode does.
